this morning when i went to drive the car i started it up and when i went to push on the accelerator, virtually nothing...i checked the thottle linkages and found a bolt a bit loose, i tightened it up but still when i push on the thottle from the pedal almost nothing, but if i pull on the throttle lever at the engine i get plenty of pull...so somewhere between the pedal and the linkage it is not adjusted properly or its come undone...i was reading another post about a firewall bushing that causes a bit of problems...how would i adjust the linkage on the pedal between the firewall and the l throttle linkage in the engine..wheni pull the throttle on the engine the pedal gets pulled all the way down , but when i push the pedal i only get about 1/4 of the action at the engine...???
holy sh!!@!@#$#@#%
i adjusted a nut on the linkage, just like in a post by Karugs a bit back and i can't believe the difference...alll of my troubles gone....the shifting problem gone, the power problem gone...and it runs great on grease now....ahhh...i'm stoked and i can't believe that for the past 2 weeks i've been stuck b.c of one little nut, all the headaches gone for the moment...yeahh!!!!!!!!!!

RE: throttle linkage
where's that post?
i'm getting some surging during cruise control lately......i recently finally "corrected" (i think) my mis-set linkages for trans pressure, and maybe something else is off.....
isnt there simply set lenghts for each rod one can measure, and go by?
