Good idea. Maybe we could also add more info like, perhaps, type of turbo (might affect it) or vehicle condition, or load at that time, etc...
My last fill up was:
Vehicle: 1983 300D T.
MPG: 26.7MPG
Gal: 14.8gallons.
80%city, 20%highway
Garrett turbo, no passengers, 33psi (all four tires), toolbox and a few goodies in trunk, ACC in Econo mode (compressor off but with outside air), windows up when cold, windows and sunroof open when warm.

RE: The Official Fuel Economy report thread
since i hardly EVER fill up, all the way, i will post a miles-by-gallons account, almost daily, as my deliveries progress.............that way, u cn all see an "accurate average" of my fuel consumption habits....
this evening, after work, i filled in 2.8 gal, for 9 bucks, at 3.09 per gal.........i was TOTALLY "dry" at the time, having driven 24 miles, "in-town", since the light came on.....
i reset my odometer as always, so, tommorrow night, after i return from work, i will post what my mileage was, when i had to pull in for more fuel......should be about 3/4 through my shift......

see u then........
on my 2.8 gals. , i went 73.1 miles, which, according to MS Calculator, is 26.1 MPG!!!
this was all on deliveries, with countless full power accelerations, as i make my way through traffic, lights, etc......
If I drive really easy at 60mph with no a/c, I will see up to 35 mpg (using the trip meter and calculator) This seems really high to me in comparison to others. My engine is nearly brand new out of an 86 300SD.
