::US tailights blownout scheme::

Does anybody here have a full scheme or blown-out pics of W123 US version tailights? I like to see the sidemarkers bulbs, the size, and where it is connected, since I would like to create it myself.

Basically I know how to do it, but those bulbs and the sidemarkers housing is somehow still need further clarification.

Any input is highly appreciated.[:)]

So what your trying to do is add US tail lights (red)
instead of the amber colored?

Hey Tiger:

Taillight bulb, 10W -- single filament
Brakelight/reverse bulb, 21W -- single filament
Rear sidemarkers, 4W <--only in US taillights

Sorry couldn't find a decent pic, but that's off my Performance Products catalog.

Yes, that's what I'll do.

I think it looks like a miniature 21W single filament bulb. The base is a cylinder with a conical apex at the bottom much like the 21W bulb, but the glass is more oval than round. Sorry I don't really have a pic, but rest assured that's the best description I could come up with.

Yes I know thats what you needed . Unfortunately, I sold the tailites a couple of months back to a friend of mine and did not had the chance to take pictures of the cover plastic that holds the bulbs. Probably you can ask guys here with US specs tailites if they can help you out by taking pictures of the bulb holder of their tailites.
