Yes black paint! i use the same color that i painted my grille black too with! "half bright" black paint i used. yes remove the glass, and then remove the plastic "thing" thats is round the both reflectors. nad paint the whole part! it´s very easy! but be careful so you don´t break any of the "lamps"! it can be a little bit tricky to replace the part that you have painted ...but not so hard i think!
