look at that burl wood. The car looks like it sat in a climate controlled garage all its life.

There's just something about the Euro models that I really like. They even "look" cleaner than a comparable US model. Is that color Silver Green metallic?

Is that the correct shade for mercedes burl wood. If it is mine has been bleached. Looks really nice and it has the same euro controls like I have.
I save a copy of picture on my hard drive in case I ever deside to refinish my wood.

Yes that the original shade, pull up the rubber boot around the shifter and you'll see how dark it should be.

Did they come in differnt shades as this one looks closer to the color I have.
Or is it also faded.

I don't think there were different shade. The more they sat out in the sun and heat they became faded. Some parts of my wood are dark like in the ebay car, and some a really yellowed like in the photo above.

I think the wood is supposed to be dark. Mine is faded except for the little part that slides under the ash tray and under the shifter boot.
