I thought I'd start a new thread and a possible sticky thread about shops you guys could recommend. I just came home after I had the car's valves adjusted at Hi Line Auto in Orange, CA by the owner himself, Matt Hegwood. They deal primarily with Mercedes-Benz, and today there were three w126's, one w140, one w221, one w163 and one w124 on the lifts. Parked were other MB's. Very pleased with the work done. Also I had the car converted to R134a a week ago and it's been really great.
I guess for the benefit of other members it would be a good idea to list down shops that you highly recommend to others, or perhaps your own too.
I've also had the pleasure to meet Tony, Diametricalbenz's mechanic, over in Santa Monica but that was too far for me. Nonetheless his shop was clean! I would recommend him too! Sadly I don't recall his shop's address maybe Curtis can post it here.

His shop is near Santa Monica City College....and unfortunately was attached to this building earlier this year. The shop wasn't damaged and that white 190E had the head off at the time the fire broke out.
