Fuel filter for Carbrature W123!?

How does that look like cause mine doesn't have anything to filter the fuel before entering the carb?

Thanks.

Hey there!

Carbed W123's are not all that common.

Mine has a standard little inline filter that you can buy at any parts place over here. It's located in one of the fuel hoses in the engine bay.

I replaced mine before I did the long distance trip to the Southern Cape in Hilda.

older 230 you can used one like below. I would however, spend a few more dollars and get one that had metal casing. Just got to parts store ask for inline filter. If you have metal piping from pump to carb tou will have to cut pipe and fit in filter that's what I did on my chevy. You might have a "stone" or small filter on inlet fitting of carb I just don't know where you would find the replacement part for it.

Carbureted 123, at least the M102, 200 do not have the same kind of fuel filter as the 230E. So, the best option if you want a fuel filter is the inline filter as described. I have one too and it always clean...

Best regards!
