Here are the pics from last night of the 300D motor and the stock motor resting in the J5 engine bay.
The 300D motor is actually shorter then the gaser so it leaves us plenty of room.

Seems to have more grunt then the other gas J5 we have, exactly what we wanted.
Some nic-nacs left to tie up, a roll cage to build, gas tank to make, hydrualics to hook up and a blade/drag needs to be installed on the rear.
Will post vids of both J5's when I can.
What was wrong with the gas motor? Nothing.

Haha! Its actually kinda quick. The vid is really of it just above idle. I'd wager its good for around 50kph, I know the other one really moves in 4th or at least it feels fast.
