Hello everyone. I hope all is enjoying the weekend. I just wanted to bring to your attention a very popular ebay listing for (what appears to be) a gorgeous blue Mercedes 300td wagon (1983) vintage located in my home town of Santa Barbara (Item number: 220154730126).

For those of you looking at this gorgeous vehicle I would be very careful before bidding or putting down a deposit. First of all the seller's feedback is atrocious. Even more unsettling is that the seller does not respond to questions nor does he return phone calls as he listed his tele per the auction. I know this because a friend of mine in town is looking fora good used 300td wagon and tried to contract them many times however his experience with this seller put a bad taste in his mouth.

Unfortunately it gives a bad name to the many honest and pleasant vintage Mercedes Benz sellers in the Santa Barbara area. There are however many smug, pretentious people in this area as well.

I just thought I would pass the message along.

Cause I had a good laugh at this jackass... check out the pedals!? Yah, looks like it's never been driven...cause that's an accident waiting to happen... and you're going to need an awful lot of work on that suspension... and who knows what else.

I guess he got what was coming to him because he ended up not selling the car to anyone.. I am glad no one bid impulsively on this wagon because their purchasing experience would of been a real disastor.
