W123 rear brakes

my 1979 230's rear brakes not holding good. New calipers andpads.
Any suggestions??

W123 1978 230 rear brake problem

The problem is :
Front brakes are good.
Rear brakes just keep rolling on.
Please help

Air still in the rear brake lines or faulty brake master cylinder/ or brake master cylinder needs to be bled.

Yes, I would think you need to bleed the lines of air.

First, get a piece of tubing that fits over the bleed screw, and a catch can for the old fluid.

Open the bleed screw (8mm, I think) and have a friend step on the brake pedal. Then close the bleed screw, and have your friend let up on the brake pedal. Repeat a couple of times and you should be good to go.

Just make sure you don't run out of fluid in the front reservoir.
