Hello Karugs! =) My 280E is soon on the junkyyard. I mount down the rearaxle yesterday. Just some parts left to take before the car goes to the grave....

I know, i have been bad on checking this forum lately.
I think the forum was much better layout before the big redone of the look. Very hard to see what sas on the "mainlook" of the forums i think.
And the auto "inlog" does not work anymore. sad.

The chromes were the wipers are, are from a 280E, same with the bumpers (280E and all coupés has it) EURO, not the US-style.
I have a complete set of those bumpers from my 280E i take parts from.
One guy wanna change the bumpers with me for a complete set of 5-speed manual gearbox for my car, but i dont know if i gonna do it.

Hi Andreas and everyone.

Your car is looking really nice.
All that time, blood, sweat and tears is finally paying off.
The last time I saw it was probably a year ago.
Some of you might remember me since I used to be a
member of this board at that time.
But due to marrital problems was is forced to leave all the
forums and clubs I was a member of.

But I'm back and stronger than ever.

Glad to be back.

Louis.

PS: In one of the pictures you replaced your steering wheel
with a wooden one(nice).
I have a question about it.
Is the diameter smaller that the OE steering wheel or the same?
I would like to replace mine with a smaller one and I have seen one
like yours on a website and would like to know if it is smaller.

is that ever a sweet looking ride.....I am now beginning to regret not grabbing the euro-bumpers for my W123 now when I had the chance..
