Diamler300CD,
Why would would want a "bad paint job on its upper surface"? [:D][:D][:D]
Just wondering...
Heh heh. I worded that wrong but obviously you know what I meant.

Schmoney, are you talking about the large hoodstar image?
If so, I crept up real close. If you notice, my camera lens (fish-eye) can be seen in the reflection.
You've done a great job on your car, comparing (mentally) your old images from our little contest at W123-World. [8D] Tell us what you did! I swear, once I started using Meguiar's #26, I never looked back! Gold Class car wax became "just another wax" to me!
This is the newest drain of my time. I replaced every light bulb in this car (except glove compartment). Changed oil, filter, bought all new trim for 20 bucks off a parts car (a hick who had no idea of the value of his 240D was letting it rot in soggy grass, I rescued, and am still rescuing what I can). Hubcaps were polished and actually re-circled (made into a circle again) with the help of an acytelene-torch. Paint is the next step. I'm going to use a combo of restorer polishes and wax but overall, its amazingly solid paint. Everything else is great, new pads and shoes were installed just before my purchase. Anyway, here she is.
