RE: new euro front bumper

Hello! nice bumper! it´s the same that i put on my w123! Its the bumper for the coupés and 280E you got there! Not the usual euro bumper with the black *not so goodlooking* siderubber. I like you bumper alot more! But now you must have the long chrome bumper for the rear also!!? I think it would see a little bit strange from the side if you don´t put it on! [:)]
Did you buy new rubber between the body and the bumper?

RE: new euro front bumper

It came off a euro coupe, and I had to use the rubber that came with it. Didn't change the back due to money and I like the bigger back bumper for saftey and looks. I still have a little tweeks to do, but it does look good! I put my other very heavy US bumper in storage.

Did you paint the lower air dam black?

Is that bumper from the junkyard?

If it is, good find there [;)]

RE: new euro front bumper

How much did was that bumper? Did you remove it from a 240? I would eventually get one myself. It gives it a more compact profile. Looks good [:)]

Didn't change the back due to money and I like the bigger back bumper for saftey and looks.
Yard cost was $40- add to that the hundreds of time I've gone and found nothing, the 45 minutes of fuel each way and tools needed to pull the part. I could still pull the rear bumper and may do it if it's still there next weekend.
