Bundt wheels: centercap removal?

Hi guys - w126 owner but w116 fan also - have a question about our Bundts.

Have recently upgraded wheels and need to remove the Bundts' centercaps before they are stored for the time being.....

Is there some technique to this? Have tried rotating them from the inside as well as tapping to see if they would pop out...

Tapping them from the inside will do it, you'll just need to use a bit more force

Thanks - it worked. Hard to apply the right pressure by hand, but very gentle tapping from the inside with the blunt end of a hammer will pop them right out.
