It's so hard to resist not going to buy this beauty in Kehei

You're looking at one super clean '73 450SEL with 108,XXX miles .I got so excited when I passed it,
I almost smashed my BMW into the back of a postal truck not paying attention

Just saw a Euro 280SE with Canadian plates with RHD in Burbank at Muller's today.....that gave me chills

Yeah,a '73 .......... the only year the W116 wasn't ruined by the DOT and their required battering ram bumpers ('74 on )

I guess you don't need that in Maui.

Weren't all the US W116 cars fitted with US bumpers regardless of smog and catylytic converters?

Oh, this is so cool! I recognize the exact spot that car is sitting at! It's right across Kihei Rd from the Best Western and Sarrento's, isn't it? Oh man, how I wish I was there. If you keep going on Kihei Rd towards Makena, you'll cross Wailea Ike Dr. Yes, it was named after me.

I really wasn't paying attention to what buildings were around but it was close
to where the snobbish upscale district started (golf courses,gated communities,
yada,yada,yada).

Planning on going back over there to do some more snorkeling/spearfishing in
the next day or so and I'll verify for you with some photos.
