brakes
can anyone please tell me why my brake light comes on when i start car 300se and then goes out when i drive. i had shoes replaced. what are calipers? my pedals are fine in car. i am women and just don't know what i'm in store for. thank you!

I dont think it is the calipers it can be a short on the cabels ore a fuse

Have someone check the brake fluid level in the brake master cylinder. Could be a little low, just enough to trip the brake light on, on the dash. As brake pads wear the fluid level drops, so after replacement, fluid level sometimes needs topped off in the master cylinder as part of the repair.
