HEADLIGHTS:
I want the conversion from the silly round headlights to the "euro lights" I can't find them, But I managed to buy some for my W126. Can I make those fit? Where can I buy ones specifically for my car?
INTERIOR:
The front seats are ripped, anyone getting rid of some decent no-rip FRONT seats? I will be putting custom neoprene seat covers...

They are European bumpers and can be found on either 1973 US W116 models or any other Euro models. US DOT required the extended bumpers on your W116 for all models 1974-1980.

No,the W126 Euros will not fit. Try looking on eBay for them.
Thanks for the repy... OUCH... Those prices!!! guess I'll save up some money and after the car is done, I'll see if I still go for them... I'll have to have the car appraised in case of an accident... that's a lot of money for the look.
If anyone knows where to get the headlights or want to trade their W116 Euro's for some W126's let me know!
i highly doubt anyone wants to trade the lame round headlights for their euros.... good luck though. sounds like you found a nice car.... i got my 74 450 w/74k original miles a year ago.... and i'm the second owner. I only paid $3450 and it's in perfect shape inside and out. their great cars.

I have W116 euro lamps but as I am in the UK they dip to the left as we drive on the left as we are RHD. Let me know if these would be any use. I am not sure if there is any way of converting them?
you say they Dip? can this be fixed by removing the "small vacuum hoses" -- they use that still right?

By dip I mean that on dipped beam they have a beam pattern that throws more light to the kerb side so that they do not dazzle oncoming drivers. I assume that US headlights dip the other way as you drive on the other side. I deal regularly on ebay as Mirafioriman. Check out my feedback if you wish. I will try to PM you with pictures etc in a couple of days.
