15" Bundt wheels - Benzworld.org

I posted this over on my native w126 board but thought this might be of interest to some w116 afficionados as well.

During my Germany travels this summer, I met a guy who has an extra set of 15" Bundt wheels for sale. The OEM edition made by Fuchs for MB was stock only on the 6.9l engine w116s and are pretty impossible to get...Fuchs re-issued some a couple of years ago for $450 per, but those were snapped up quickly.

These rims are aftermarket parts, but still very, very rare - even in Germany, let alone overseas. If there is any interest, please pm me for details.

I'm planning to sell on eBay.de these 15", just manufactured by ATS. Completely restaurated, repainted, not new replicas. Set of 4. OK, edges is not ideal, these rims have seen a lot, othervise they are straight and new pulver-painting (if term is correct, English is not my native language: rim is heated and paint particles evenly sticks to heated surface, not coloured by spraying on them), no other damage. Just have to decide about the price. And there is one more set in bad condition, if there will be interest in these rims I'm planning to restaurate them also.

And they must fit on all MB until 1985., not sure about others. By the way, have seen them on some diesel W211 also.

The owner of the Mercedes shop where I bring my cars to has a 1980 300SD with 15 Bundt wheels and they look awesome.

I have been lucky enough to find two pairs of these wheels a set of Arc-Alurad and a very nice set of ATS 15" bundts. The ATS's are going on my 6.9 when I get the car back.
