Ok here is my next problem on my 1980 300sd Trubo diesel. The drivers side high beam will not work. Both low beam bulbs work fine and the passenger side high beam works fine when cluster is pushed forward. I haved ruled out fuses and bulbs. I also cleaned and checked the wiring on all the bulbs. it used to work fine, let me explain. I told my brother not to trn on the high beams until I replaced the passenger side bulb becuase it had water in it. Well, days later he tried the bulbs after draining the water without my permission and blew them both out. I replaced te bulbs with new ones and the fuses too. Now the passenger side owrks fien and I can't get the drivers side high beam to work. Any suggestions?
Also, when I hit the cluster backwards for quick high beam usage, the passenger side won't come on. I am not sure if that fuction won't work anyway if both bulbs aren't on.
Actually for this model car the high beam left and right fuse is 11 and 12. I did fix it, and it was a bad fuse connection. I used a pair of needle nose pliers to pull the metal tabs closer to the fuse and it came right on.

RE: Drivers side high beam not working 80' 300sd
Could you post a pic of the paper inside the fuse cover for me so I can add it to the DIY section or just add it there.Another member was needing it and
I didn't keep it from my old 300SD and sure the question will come up again. Thanks[:)]
