A Column Shift 280S on ebay

This car looks beautiful! Way overpriced, I think, but sure looks great.

Amen, but for 10 grand? And it does need work, however minor. It's also, as you know, the least powerful gas W116.

Although I am a spirited driver,I wouldn't dream of
being "abusive" with that one.You would think I was
an 80 year old behind the wheel if you pulled up behind me.

However,I do agree the price is somewhat steep and couldn't see paying more than $8000.

I have seen a lot of fine examples on eBay and that one gives them all a run for the money. If it were mine,I would just store it for another 20 years and
put it back on eBay so see the feeding frenzy begin
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $

I'd say $5000-5500.
