Just bought 3 W116s for the grand total of $700.

74 450SE with a bad flywheel
75 450SEL with a bad trans
77 450SEL with injection issues

I take delivery tommorrow and will post pics.Can't wait to see the expression on my house proud neighbors faces [:D]

Will more than likely have spare parts available when I sort out what I am going to do with them[;)]

As for me though, I got in enough trouble just bringing ONE W116 home! If I tried to bring home 3, my wife would have me living in one of them!

Delivery delayed until tommorrow on W116 pack[:(]The guy I bought them from slideback broke down today and fixed his lips to suggest he could bring them to me on a sling type tow truck[xx(][xx(]

Boy are you in for some trouble (just kidding). I patched together three 280SE's and discovered the joys of hybridising engines and other things that just don't like to have mechanical sex - MB really likes making tiny changes year-to-year on everything. Even now, I'm still doing yet *another* engine swap ten years down the road.
