After running for the first time my newly restored 280SL, she runs hot in the traffic jam. Outside temperature over here is aroun 35C. Not running with the A/C....
The radiator have been replaced for a new one, water pump ok and thermostatic valve checked oh too.
The engine is as it came with the car from New York, where I bought her.
Further that problem, the engine has no power.
The fuel injection seems correct as the spark plugs don't get black but brown.
I still have to check the timing!!!???
My question is, could a bad timing make overheating?
For sure a lack of power....
Looking for comments. Thanks.
