What carbs are compatible with w114

I know my 1973 Benz 280 comes with a solex 4a1 carb but I might need to replace it is there another carb I can use instead of the one it comes with? Maybe more fuel efficient or if anyone could give me a list of all the carbs that are compatible that would be awesome thank you

You'll need to adapt a different carb. I've seen Holley and Carter AFB conversion.

With best regards
