Yesterday we took a 14 hour road trip, to pick up this 59 190D for parts. It actually has a real good body, less rust than the 190Db had in the floor areas, but the motor does not turn over. Pretty much everything else is complete with this 190D.
What are the chances of removing the injectors, and filling with WD40 or Marvell Mystery Oil, and getting motor to turn over??
Engine does have old, non contaminated oil in it.
Have noticed several differences between the 59 190D, and the 60 190Db.
1: 190D has less wood trim on dash
2: 190D only has 1 chrome trim strip on the cold air intake slots, between grill, and headlight.
3: 190D has bucket seats, 190Db has a bench seat
4: 190D has seat belts installed. After market, or correct??
Fonzi: Note the $49.99 HF winch on front of trailer, worked great to load. Winch even has a remote for single person loading.
