rear seat w108

Are there any bolts or brackets to secure the rear seat in place in a 1967 w108. The back part is fine as there are two bolts which are secured from the boot but the seat, I have no brackets or fixings and it has been that long since I removed it to have it recovered I can't remember how to put it back again. Any help would be great. Thanks

There is a metal rod from memory that slides into a tab on the front of the seat base - the rod then goes down through a hole in the body where the front of the seat base would rest. So you ram the back of the seat base under the upright cushion and then lower the rods into the holes to secure the seat. Can't find any pics on google but it is perhaps 4" long and the rod has a bit of a kink in it. Does that twig any memories? Happy searching.

Thanks but I have no memory of any rods. As I say it is a long time since I took the seats out and perhaps there was no rods or fixings attached at that time. However if anybody has some or knows where to come across any I would be glad to here from them. Even if anybody has a picture it might help me understand just what it is that I am looking for. Thanks again all.
