1973 450sl complete restoration--original owner

Hi All,

My first post. I am gong to need some help finishing the frame off restoration done by European Autobody, Escondido, CA. Expensive, but they do good work and that was what I wanted. Used all original German primer, paint, and parts. It looks like it just came from the factory. 106k miles.

Alignment correct, new balanced Michelins plus new shocks, however, the steering is soft and the car does not have the original road "feel". It rides like a 73 Chevy and it seems to float down the highway.

MM and transmission mounts are new along with the sway bar.

Thoughts please about where I should start to restore the original ride.
