I've got one in a 70 280se and one in a 73 280 sel 4.5 but they are both cars I've never had running so the condition is unknown. i can see if either has pressure in the system if you are interested.

i checked the 280sel 4.5 and one of the lines is disconnected. I've tossed more ac parts then fixed in my time, but i assume that would be a bad thing? can it be used still? flushed out maybe? i can pressure test it. the other car is locked in a separate lot i cant get in on weekends by myself.

The system we pulled from my 1969 280s certainly had pressure. I am not sure, but I think I might have the condenser in my garage attic.
