Looking for all 4 door seals and windshield seal for a 1971 280SE. Does anyone know of a source for these parts?
Thank you

I got mine from eBay. Years later, they're still standing up to time. I HIGHLY recommend staying away from the stealership - suckers are expen$ive as hell, for the same part.

At the time, I did a general search in eBay and found a set. Do a search for the same thing in this forum - this is a common question, the most recent of which was a few weeks ago. There's a guy in Turkey (or Greece) that makes the seals as a set.

You might want to research others experiences with the aforementioned aftermarket parts from eBay such as sloppy fit, etc. here and on the other MB forums.

If aftermarket door seals fit like a cheap suit or your windshield leaks and ruins your wooden dash bow or worse, was it worth any savings only to then do it over with the right parts?

I would and have only used genuine parts from Mercedes-Benz.

I'm usually the guy who talks smack about the stealership and the prices, so there's the grain of salt ...

The production line for the 108/109 line long ago shut down. The dealership network has to source the parts from somewhere, and whether it's "the guy from Turkey (or Greece)" or another vendor, they're still buying them aftermarket. Look to Autohaus or Peach Parts (dot com) if eBay vendors give you pause - these two will often stock "Mercedes approved" items. If you must, keep away from Chinese rubber, as this forum has a lot of unhappiness toward them, based I suppose on experience. I bought a Porsche seal from Autohaus and was very favorably impressed with the product. And it was 4 times as cheap as the same thing, from the dealership.

Heck, even call the Cla$$ic Center and ask them who their source for rubber seals is ...
