1966 250SE motor mounts

I am confused, removed the 189 engine that was seized from my 250SE, Bought a 250 engine and transmission, Have all ready put it in. Motor mounts do not line up the motor mount on 250, reads 230-250 and they are short and are angled. I have the 189 which are straight mounts, but they do not fit the 250 engine. Any ideas. Thanks for any help.

I would assume that the mounting arms from the old engine would need to be mounted to the new engine.

Are you saying the bolt holes of the old mounting arms don't line up with the new engine?

That is correct bolt holes on the 189 mounts do not match the engine,I was thinking that maybe whoever did engine swap from original engine to 189, maybe changed suspension. I am wondering if maybe the rubber mounts can be moved down a little to fit to arms? It is approx. 1 1/2 inches on each side.
