190D body panels question

I'm working on a 1961 Ponton 190D. If I can find a parts car cheap enough, I'd like to replace the rusty fenders rather than repair them.
I have a line on a '59 Ponton. Will the body panels of the '59 work on the '61 or will I need to look for a '61 to replace those pieces?
Along those same lines; are many of the other parts (engine, brakes) interchangeable on the Ponton models?

It all depends on whether both cars (the one you are repairing and the parts car) are the same body. Some Pontons are the 220 (6 Cyl) and some are the 180/190 (4 cyl). Body panels will not be interchangeable between these two different models, but if both cars are 4-cyl versions you should be fine between the years. Some mechanical parts are interchangeable, but it depends on what you are looking at.

Get in touch with @rwd4ever we just scored this car that appears to have had all the body work done and is a apparently rust free chassis with motor still in it and cab full of all parts other than seats and door cards.
