w108 one side lying down

Hi all, having replaced shocks front and back along with replacing compensation spring on rear axle my poor old 1967 250 se seems to be lying down on one side. The right hand side, as you sit in the drivers seat, is lying down about 1 inch. It drives fine but looks bad. Has anybody any idea how to fix the problem. All shocks are new and correct and the new compensation spring fixed the the rear sagging thanks to you all.http://www.benzworld.org/forums/imag...s/confused.gif

Is it lower in front or in back?

I recently noticed my 68 250s leaning in back, I suspect the springs are worn out. They are not that expensive to replace. Coil springs do wear out.

There are different size spring pads, but I dont think they can correct that much lean.

I've got a set of spring from a 1969 280s I parted out and removed the rear axle. I left the front axle on to drag it to the scrap yard on the dolly. If you can't find replacement springs elsewhere, let me know. I've got another parts car lines up and ready to part in the event I need another set of springs.

I would consider it false economy to put another set of old springs in. They do wear out.

They are only $99 each rear and $129 front, and will last another 50 years.

Thanks Fonzi for the offer but I have replaced all shocks plus rear coil springs with new ones along with replacing compensation spring. Rumb replacing the compensation spring cured my problem of the rear sagging and the car now sits level front to back as it should do, this might be your problem too. However my problem now is that it sits down a little on the right hand side and I don't know what to do.
