Yes, m119 were offered by AMG in the w126, but I read somewhere that it simply wouldn't fit in a 107. And 107 and 114/115 are incredibly similar regarding the suspension (same front and rear subframes and control arms on c107 and w114/115). The w114 had the added complexity of being originally designed with those diagonal supports, so it's even trickier than a 107.

My signature:
My dream car is a classic sporty five speed (stick+overdrive) convertible that seats five. If, you want 70's-80's Mercedes tuner wheels, let me know.

What I used, was megasquirt. You will have to create the harness, and configure the ECM. Not that hard really.

Also, measure the engine bay, so, it will be easier to see which engine will fit. I believe you can fit the inline 6 in there pretty easily. Any V8 will cause potential for interference / modification of the steering.

Again, i am not that familiar with the W115.

Hmmm, I thought the megasquirt would be the way to go and I was pretty sure I would have to create the harness so maybe something like an M119 or or even something like the OM606 ( somebody brought it up in another post and it is intriguing...)

Do the measurements. The M119 maybe too wide to fit. Not sure. Just check to be sure.

The M119 would make it a cool hotrod. I believe the ratios for the rear end on your car will not be a good match for the V8, but it's an easy swap for the V8 rear end with the better ratios.

A blown Chevy small block in a 450SL.

One BenzWorld member, Mach4, put a 300D in an 450SL. Iv'e heard people refer to it as a 300DSL
