Mat set W111 Sedan

Iím looking for a mat set - front and rear, but cannot find any suitable. I do not mean a full carpet, but a mat set to cover the carpets. Either velour-type, textile or rubber mats.

Iíve found reasonable priced mats at the below links, but by eyeballing they do not seem to make a good fit. The car is 1964, sedan, LHD, automatic with a kick-down switch under the throttle pedal. The high beam switch and windscreen-flusher are on the left hand side on the driverís foot well/floor. Gear-shift handle is on the steering column.

PREM D. BROWN LP MAT SET for Mercedes W111 Fintail 220 S SE 1959-1965 | eBay

Hope anyone can recommend a decent set, or confirm whether any of the above two links will fit.

Thanks in advance
Einar

Depends on how long you want them to last and quality of the product.

I am in the process of getting Cocomats.com products for my SL. Not the least expensive, but they are pretty high quality. I went with the Sisal mats, since they approximated the loop look of the original carpet they will cover. Good heavy rubber backing, thick rubber footpad if you desire. Or, get a thinner vinyl heel pad.

Once you order online, they get back SWIFTLY and provide pattern files you can take to get printed at FedEx store, or they will mail you a set with an swatch of your product (color correct). I used the mailed to me pattern and found it to be an almost exact fit to the OE carpets. You will be able to mark up and amend their pattern and ship it back to them so there are no questions of fit (unless you bollix it) Mats arrive within two to three weeks depending on how you handle the pattern task.

I ordered custom sets from World Upholstery (dot com). They were excellently done mats.

Same here. Best floor mats I have ever seen. I opted for the wool blend so they were obviously not cheap and I would probably go with nylon for a daily driver, but the wool matches the factory carpet set in a 250se Coupe very well.
