I have a C230 motor and trans in my W110. But, it should be pretty much the same. I control the engine with megasquirt. The motor needed fabricated motor mounts, and the tunnel had to be cut. I don't think there will be a way around it. My W110 has a 4 speed, and now has a 6 speed. More gears, mean larger case, and hence not fitting the stock tunnel. Not really that big of a deal. I am fabricating a new tunnel, but in the meantime, there is just a simple bent piece of metal for now. Not pretty but works.
