Update: I snipped the cigar lighter power. There were three wires, so I just used the green/yellow striped one to power the yellow wire from the wiring harness. I connected everything with proper connectors and crimped it all down. Radio works (yay!), but it is not saving my presets, and there is an odd interference sound. Would an improper speaker connection cause that, or is it more likely how I am grounding the unit (screwed down to old mounting bracket). It's not a blown speaker sound, more of an electronic sound. For the losing presets issue, should I have used a different wire from the cigar lighter (or all 3)?
