Power but no sound - Becker Grand Prix

Hey Guys, the Becker Grand Prix in my '67 250SE powers up with lights but there is absolutely no sound out of the speaker. No static, nada.

The PO had an aftermarket unit mounted under the dash, but I want to get the Becker working again - unfortunately I have no information from him about it's functionality when he put the aftermarket unit in.

I believe I have it all hooked up correctly, but I am wondering about the 7-pin jack on the back panel: every other Becker radio I've had needs a plug with a jumper pin in order to work. This radio doesn't have the jumper plug, but the 7-pin jack is not a standard DIN jack either. There is no 'ring' around the jack to insert a plug. Please take a look at the photo and if anyone recognizes that jack and has info about weather I need / don't need a jumper plug I would much appreciate it.

Also, this is a tube radio in a '67. It's a European market car, but had they gone to solid state by then or is this the correct unit for a '67?

Many thanks

The Plug:

And some pictures of the tubes - pretty neat:

Come to think of it, the speaker wires are supposed to attach to the amp correct?

It is indeed the model with a separate amp. I know Becker will refurb the radio for me, I just want to make sure it really needs the work and it's not just a wiring issue.

The radio was not wired up when I bought the car.

Cheers
