Here are mine Fonzi.

I got mine from this guy years ago.
Nothing fancy, just generic hot rod ribbed trim rings. I ran W114 wheels as they don't have the dog dish ears which is what I wanted as I am running spider caps.
But why are you running dog dish caps when you have all those beautiful BBS wheels etc?! Different look I suppose, it is good to change up from time to time.
I just get excited about new things and recently befriended a local fintail owner and also dragged home a 1969 w108 parts car with wheels with dog dish ears. They are novel to me, and I bought some dog dig caps and rings to make them possibly useful.
They are not correct for any of my cars, but I do think about running these on my w108. I am also running full caps on my 1985 280sl currently.
The red SL is running 5.5" aluminum steelies with 25mm H&R spacers. I just bought a third pair of those spacers, and like the flexibility having them provides.
I like to save the correct original wheels for all my cars. So don't worry about me dumping original wheels.
For both my 1985 280sl and my 1973 280se 4.5, I will probably want one of each: narrow winter wheels, wide summer wheels, and there's plenty to chose from with:
2 sets fondmetals,
4 sets bbs rs,
1 set rial n,
2 sets ats Pentas,
2 sets bbs ra,
2 sets 5.5 aluminum steelies,
1 set 6" round hole steelies (original to 1973 w108 I believe),
1 set 6" dog dish steelies,
2 sets 6.5" bundts
1 set lorinser rs90
And more junk not even listed above.
So most of the above will get sold, but I like the idea of having all the above to chose from while refurbishing my cars, and learning different wheels along the way.
Thank you for providing a source for beauty rings!!
