6.9 on C/L?

the ad is for a 280se but clearly the car in the photo is a 6.9. the vin indicates it could be the third 6.9 ever?

someone might want to look at this

All the more regrettable to see the condition it's in. Looks way too far gone.

Yes. That is number #3 . Hopefully someone snags it just for the VIN.

Fonzi will snag it for parts. I can see the ad right now "For sale: Upper starter bolt off of third-ever 6.9. $79 includes immense labor it took to remove same. Email fonzi@benzjunk.us"

Nah... Too far for me to drag it home. I would also put a "make offer" in my ad.

Should I grab it and part it out?

Only your time, space, and wallet can answer that.

Probably be a pain in the ass to part out.

If you have the room and time I would. I have 2 6.9's, ones a parts car. There are $$$ of parts on there that are NLA. I'm slowly stripping mine now. I am also transferring a large number of parts to my keeper. Anything specific to the 6.9 is valuable.

dont tell them what it is, they think it is a 280SE.
