Where to buy wires in different color and stripes

Hi! I am trying to find webshops etc that have wires in different color and color stripes so I can make an engine wiring harness like or near The original. Any who have suggestion?

I've been wondering the same thing as it is a bit hard to find.

I did just run across this on Amazon that has a bunch of colors.

I found this site.

I'm going to try ordering some wire to rewire my engine top on my 380SL from EFI Connection.

Some good links there.

Need to make a list of what our V-8 Djets use for injection system. Color coding is important, but we also need to make sure wire has multi strands similar to original. Original wires were mostly 0.75mm, I think, so 18AWG should be good.

By the way 280SEL4,5, I recently completed a rebuild of my existing harness. But some time in future I may build a complete new one, just for fun and to keep as a spare. So the wire links could be useful.

On my rebuild, I used the double cantilever terminals as Brad describes in the Benzworld thread (http://www.benzworld.org/forums/r-c1...e-harness.html). Also used new Repro boots bought from Germany and silicone coated fibreglass sleeves bought from Wirecare. All covered in that link, I believe.
