I just bought a 71 280SE for $2300 plus $600 shipping that is a total rust bucket with $46,000 in receipts over the last 7 years / 20,000 miles including a rebuilt engine, driveshaft, injection pump, shocks, brakes, compesating spring, PS pump, steering box, injectors, tires, fuel tank, fuel pump, battery, ignition switch, washer pump, coil, wires, regulator, alternator ... all with receipts. I mostly bought it for the $8000 engine rebuild and the $1600 injection pump in case I need it for another car. The car will eventually be parted out. I'm not ready to part it out yet. It would be a perfect merge for a 108 with a blown drivetrain. But the parts will probably be going into one of two fintails I own.
