Help requested to identify an antique roadster

A few years ago I was in Edmonds, WA and saw a beautiful roadster and briefly talked with the owner. He said it was a rare Mercedes but if he told me the model or year of production I have forgotten it. I recently found a video clip I made with my cell phone which shows the car in pretty good detail and hope someone can use this to identify it and share any information or citations.

The video is posted on YouTube, probably runs no more than a minute. I would really appreciate anyone commenting on the video on YouTube. Here is a link:

Thanks in advance.

Looks like a custom build to me. Lots of aeronautical engineers/machinists around here with the skills to pull that off

Yes, not a Mercedes - looks to somehow be inspired in the SSK versions of the 1930's

By the looks of the blower mounted in front of the grill, it looks like a Bentley or Rolls.
