Why replace all of them as a set? The reason I ask is that I'm about to go through the cleaning process with injectors for an M189, which retail for $3200 each...

Wow, that is just immoral and criminal - they are very simple pieces of machined brass/bronze, no reason for these prices.

I tested each one, and they all failed unfortunately.

You don't have to, but I like to sync up the cylinder variables on my engines so that they run smoother and more efficiently as a matched set. Kinda the same reason you typically replace spark plugs as a set

The M100 and M189 injectors are different -- long curved tube where the spray comes out. I doubt they are more complicated but they are unique. (M100 and M189 injectors I don't think are the same as each other, but they look similar) See attached.

And the good thing is the M-100 injectors are much more reasonable at a list of $2500 each!

But you need 8 of them instead of 6, so it's just about a push.

Sheesh, I think I'd convert to Megasquirt if I found out new injectors were needed
