Hi everyone, one question. What do you do when the seals on your windows and doors are goners? I have a W115 with seals that are junk now because of the amount of time the car was left in direct sunlight. The door rubber seals are the worst, they are craked and if you touch them they fall apart. The trunk seal is bit worn too and the window seals are not in good condition either. I think the ones of the window are made of some kind of fabric, anyone knows?
Well I wanted to know if I could replace them with modern rubber seals or do I definitely have to get the original seals? Here in Peru it's a bit difficult since there aren't many of these cars around, mostly W123's and later models around.
