Rebuilt drive shaft from Portland driveLine. 280se
i just received the rebuilt drive shaft from Portland drive line. it actually came out of their Texas branch, but still only took 3 days from the time of ordering.
It was well packed and came with all the RMA stuff to send back the core.
Price was $442. after you return the core for a $95. It came with two new stacked in uv joints, new center bearing, rubber doughnut and carrier. It is also balanced. installation went without any dramas. the transmission end is sealed in plastic wrap to hold the grease they put in. i took the wrap off once i had it in place to bolt on.
The car now runs smooth as a ever. I'm very happy and thought the price was very fair.
