oil pan heater

Before this newbie gets into some expensive stuff, let's eliminate the oil temp as a cause of poor starts. Who knows the best oil pan heater for a 1970 220D, and where to get one?

I have used similar to this on and off for over 30 years.

It is a bit of a pain getting down on the ground to install and remove, but it works fine. Only requirement is a steel oil pan.

Why not the standard MB block heater? These things are about 500watt and take an hour or so to warm the whole block. Using Mobil 1 will allow you to get better cold starts as well.
