I agree, that is a solid car. low mile, clean, looks well cared for. hub caps are not scratched. hard to spot any cosmetic issues.

If you are serious, you should buy, fly and then just go drive it home.

otherwise in 6 months you will be wishing you had done it.

Here are some more California cars:

1971 Mercedes 220D

1972 Mercedes Benz 240D Manual New Engine and Clutch

1978 Mercedes 240D Outstanding / Only 50k on Motor/138k Total / Euro.

82 MERCEDES 240D CA CAR

Personally, I would go for a 123 over the /8 given the vast difference in amount of vehicles produced/imported into the U.S. Don

The /8 gives me a massive chub. It is just like the one I used to own, but for the PS and AC. The manual trans is far superior in getting power to the wheels than anything in a w123 OM616. It would be a superior example for Mercedes Lover to purchase due to the low miles and near perfect cosmetic condition. Given all the recently documented work, it should present him with few surprises.

I've owned several examples of 115 and 123 cars, and I vastly prefer the former to the latter.
