Another 3 1/2" yesterday and last night so we have yet to get out of the garage.

Snow is mostly gone, rains have washed salt off the roads and I've wakened the '55, '61, '72 and '85 from their winter's rests. Everything has worked perfectly so far, but there are still a few cars to go.

I got the car up on stands and replaced the shift rod bushings. Now the engine will not run when I shift into gear. The engine runs fine in park and Neutral. Reverse was killing the engine, but now works fine. Dies in Drive. Previously the w115 300D would not move in any gear but Low. Engine ran fine.

Restored Becker Grand Prix

Just finished installation of the restored Becker Grand Prix and a new Hirschmann power antenna in the 280SE this past weekend. The sound quality is surprisingly good - much better than the newer stereo it replaced. Many thanks to the guys at Becker Auto Sound in NJ.
