Not entirely true i'm afraid. Mercedes Benz put carbs in the W201 and W124

With best regards

What exactly is this thing ?
It's repaired from the top, perhaps broken so I'd try and find a replacement
At the bottom it has two nozzles coming out but a pipe is looped on both. I'm guessing it should not be like that.

Okay ive figured this is the pressure control Valve / Check Valve.... still don't know the part number and still don't know if I can find a replacement

R is for the pipe returning to the fuel tank
one above it goes to the pump

in all the diagrams I have seen online there are only three connections.
my valve has wayyyyyyyy too many

If you see at the left corner under the Carb Output pipe there is another small pipe coming out and it is going to the diaphragm
Also At the bottom of this valve there are two pipes.. could it be possible they are to accelerate the car when I turn on the AC ?? they seem like vacuum connections
there is a vacuum pipe coming out of the diaphragm and it has been closed by a bolt... maybe it should go in one of these connections ??

Done !!

So finally got the carb kit delivered to me and opened it up last weekend.
Broke one stud but managed to get another one made immediately.
Also changed the bush on accelerator rods and got a new valve
She is soooooooooooo smooth now, I honestly did not expect her to become so good
I can take her down to 20km/hour in third gear and it wont jerk and picks up without any jerks..
total pickup is slightly less then it was earlier but my mechanic says this is the default settings, we can give it extra fuel if we want but it wont stay as smooth as it is so not messing with it for now
