Need any 1963 Mercedes-Benz 190 parts?

I don't know if this is the right place to post this or not but i'll try it anyways.

This 1963 Mercedes-Benz 190 just popped up in one of my local junkyards and wanted to see if anyone needed help with parts? I can go check it out and pull parts if needed.

No financial interests in this car or its parts. Just trying to help if anyone is looking for some old parts.

I am looking for some 14-inch steel rims for my 1957 190 sedan.

Can you see if those rims are 14-inch?

If so, can you give me a price for the 5 wheels, with shipping to 93110 zip?

Thanks

PS: what shape are they in, including the tires?

I will go check them out tomorrow and see what kind of shape they're in.

A lot of times they take the picture on that site when they first drop them off in the lot then they take the wheels/tires off. So I hope they're still there tomorrow!

Nitro - your other alternative is to source alloy wheels from a w123 car (240d) from the early 1980's. These look like the steel wheels and have the hubcaps as well, but are much lighter than the steelies. They are 14 x 5.5, and are a direct bolt on to the Ponton. I have a set on my 1958 190. These are pretty easy to find.

Thanks for that tip, Kevin. I'll do a search for them.

BTW: .... Anyone here with a set of 4 or 5 of this type for my car?

Here you go, brother...

Set Mercedes Light Alloy Aluminum 14" Wheels Rims 1234001302 W123 300D 240D | eBay

These are in Pasadena, so not out of range for you to pick them up. Price is a little on the high side, but not outrageous, and I think these are becoming more sought after as time goes on.

Mine were in similar condition to these, cosmetically speaking. Just clean them up and paint them (or powder coat), or just have them sandblasted to an aluminum finish.

FYI, that 190 would have come with 13" rims.
Can't speak specifically for the Ponton, but my "60 220S Fintail came with 13" rims, and early Pagoda SL and W108 14" rims, up to '68, will fit that car and have the 3 'nubs' stamped into them so I could still attach the small 'dog-dish' hubcaps (but of course, not my Fintail's 13" trim-rings). The W123 rims would need updating to the later post-68, full-size hubcaps.

Happy Motoring, Mark

Hi, I'm working on a '62 190D at the lower end of the Puget Sound. Could you take pics of the interior bits?
