Looking for my old RED 1961 220SB..

One of a kind Painted bright red mono blocked. Most big chrome items are red, most small semi gloss black.
Just wondering if anyone has seen it around! It's been 20 years.
I did a top to bottom rebuild of the car 35 years ago.
Thinking about a w220 now.

Did you paint the interior, including the wood, red as well? If so, I remember it on eBay in 2006 or 2007 or so...

No, interior wood was all refinished polished wood. The rest of it was fresh two tone grey pleather. It was nice enough that I can't imagine anyone messing with it.

I can; since you messed with the exterior in the same way.

If you painted it red 20+ years ago, I would guess that it's not around anymore. I somehow don't think that added to the appeal of the car, or at least after 20 years I would think it would be a negative factor.

Yes I did!
It was the eighties.
I've been scouring the w220 information. Seems like a very nice car.
